TrackMaps — GingerMan Raceway, CW Extended Course (10B) (v1.0 MAP) gettrackmaps.com · License: CC BY-SA 4.0 Lap length as measured: 2.14 mi GEOMETRY Centreline drawn by hand on aerial imagery: 203 points, joined by a smooth curve that passes within 0.31 m of every point, resampled at 2 m. Lap length 2.14 mi (3444 m) computed from the georeferenced centreline on the WGS84 ellipsoid. Direction CW. The header shows 2.14 mi: published by GingerMan Raceway on its track maps page (checked 2026-10-06). Track width is a nominal 40 ft (not measured). Previous edition registered onto this centreline: RMS 1.2 m, max 6.0 m; bubble positions carried over from it; corner numbers follow the official map. Start/finish on the painted line seen in USDA aerial imagery 2024 (0.6 m), 13 m further along the lap than the previous edition. Pit lane traced from aerial imagery, 829 m long, drawn at a nominal 30 ft width; pit boxes, walls and painted blend lines are not shown. Reference features (group context) from OpenStreetMap and drawn by the owner on aerial imagery: building 20, paddock 2, road 16, sand 6, tyres 10, wall 13. Start/finish and reference features checked against USDA aerial imagery 2024 (0.6 m). Elevation from USGS 3DEP (1 m lidar DEM, flown 2014 to 2016, NAVD 88): 39 ft change over the lap, low 695 ft, high 734 ft, 75 ft of climb per lap. TURN NUMBERING Turn numbering follows the track's official map (GingerMan Raceway Track Specifications map, https://www.gingermanraceway.com/about-track-maps.html, read 2026-09-19; 11 corners, Turns 1 to 9, 10B and 11, clockwise). Other publishers: none found that differ. The official map's Turn 10A is the original Turn 10 hairpin, a cut-through that the 2.14-mile course bypasses (the 1.88-mile original course uses 10A instead of 10B); GRIDLIFE, the VSCDA driving guide and OpenStreetMap use the same 10A/10B labels, and Wikipedia and racingcircuits.info count 11 turns. Names on the official facilities map: Deep Demon (the 5/6 complex), Wiggly Field (the 8/9 esses), The Dunes (11 and its sand trap), Jill's Hill (the straight from 2 to 3), Zak's Straight (the front straight) and Phoenix Flat (the straight from 10B to 11). The outside kerbs at T1, T3, T6, T9 and T11 and the kerbs on 8 bends without a number were marked by hand from the aerial photo. T10B has no inside kerb. Pale grey fills are paddocks and lots, grey-tan bands are service roads, mid grey fills are buildings, sand-coloured fills are gravel and sand traps, pale blue fills are water; dotted grey lines are walls and fences next to the track, thin grey lines are access roads. North arrow on every page. A chain of small grey rings is a tyre barrier; a grey band with a white centre is an airbag or soft wall. Elevation strips: the whole lap on the cover (feet, S/F at both ends, turns ticked) and the drawn stretch on each corner page (grade in percent at the apex, crest or dip marked). Not for navigation; verify references on site. CHANGES v1.0: rebuilt from a lap drawn by hand on aerial imagery (lap 2.14 mi measured); start/finish placed on the painted line; reference features, north arrows and elevation added; corner numbering set to the track's official map (see TURN NUMBERING); every page keeps a blank 3/4 in strip along the top edge for a hole punch.
